EDUCATION

Life Long Learning

Tailored education packages based on TEACCH principles delivered in a vibrant and purposeful learning environment. A life-skills based curriculum is designed to support our children in fulfilling their potential. We utilise high staff to pupil ratios, using highly experienced and qualified teaching staff.

Our Education offer is highly personalised and accommodates a wide range of learning abilities up to GCSE level and other formal accreditation. We offer a fully integrated package of Care, Education, Health and Therapy and we work together to promote a culture based on unconditional positive regard aiming to develop confidence, self motivation and independence.

CARE

Developing Independence, Self-esteem and Sense of Worth

Our spacious, stimulating homely environment supports and meets individual needs. We have an experienced and highly qualified team offering a wide range of engaging activities to help promote young peoples leisure interests and life skills. 

Our key areas of  focus are encouraging independence, building self-esteem and developing a sense of worth. We want all of our Young People to play an active part in their local community and to feel valued for who they are. 

THERAPY

Helping our Children to Make Sense of the World

We have access to a range of professionally trained therapists who are able to offer a range of support including Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Educational Psychologists. 

Individual therapy programmes are designed to develop the social and communication skills required for our children to make sense of the world in which they live.

Young people also in engage in small group work to develop their Social Thinking Skills and to gain a greater understanding of their own special education needs.
